Come together and give back to our community, $5 at a time.
Monthly, we pick a group, organization, or family to donate to.
We donate through a variety of ways, such as funds, items of need, wish list items, and specific needs.
In the past, we have helped area back to school drives, hot lunch programs, The Kids’ Closet, cancer centers, book drives, CAP Services, diaper drives, families in need, Little Free Pantries, GiGi’s Playhouse, and many, many more.
100% of our donations go directly to the intended recipient and they stay 100% local. Stevens Point, Plover, Portage County, Central Wisconsin Area.
Organized in 2020 · Official non-profit since 2021.
Who we help:
We help organizations and other non profits within the Stevens Point, Plover and Portage County Areas. We will help organizations outside of our direct area, if they service our community members and we don’t have that service locally.
In 2023 we donated over $40,000 back into our community.

Collections:
While each month our focus is on various organizations, we do have a few fundraisers that we collect year around for.
Those include:
💕Paper bags for Operation Bootstrap
💕Soda tabs for The Ronald McDonald House
💕Winter items, coats, hats, mittens, boots, snow pants, etc.

We absolutely LOVE partnering with local businesses and we are thankful when they ask to team up with us.

Awards:
The Power of 5, Inc has received many awards over the years.
We think this is a direct reflection of our goals, ongoing efforts and dedication to this community.
We are genuinely humbled by each, and every award received.
These awards belong to everyone involved.
The Jefferson Awards Foundation was created in 1972 by the
American Institute for Public Service.
The Jefferson Awards are given at both local and national levels.
Local winners are ordinary people who do extraordinary things without expectation of recognition.
In February of 2024, our founder, Nicole Stroik, was awarded a “Hometown Hero” Award given by Save A Lot Stores.
She was one of 15 finalists and was awarded a $500
as part of being in the top 5 winners.

Yes, we are a 501c3 organization.
Tax receipts are available, upon request.
How much of my donation goes to the recipient?
100% of your donation goes to the indented recipient. We don’t take any fees or collect any wages.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept PayPal, Venmo, Facebook pay, cash or check made out to The Power of 5.
Is there a minimum donation requirement?
Absolutely not! No donation is too small. Donate what you can, when you can. All donations are greatly appreciated.
How can I help if I don’t have the money to support?
We love any kind of support we can get. Spreading awareness of our group and helping it grow is very important, so impactful and best of all, it’s free!
